Yes, I already had an active Gold Membership, I just added the prepaid card and it extended my existing membership.

i sent mine off with a pretty good case of the RROD (all three red lights on!)just when i had bought FIFA09, got lazy 2 n sent it late on – which was on friday last week. anyways it arrived at frankfurt according to UPS on tuesday n today being thursday on the xbox website it says it has been repaired or replaced (already)and is being send back 2 me.

fingers crossed for it to arrive before the weekend(i doubt it though)and did you have an already active gold membership when the repair was being done?

Nodds, I’m pretty sure it was a repair. I think the sheet that came with it said new main board etc.
